UpToDate subscription ends December 31: What you need to know
The University of Calgary’s institutional subscription to UpToDate will not be renewed after December 31, 2016, due to unsustainable cost increases.
To mitigate the impact of this cancellation, the Library has upgraded to DynaMed Plus. You’re encouraged to bookmark this site, and to visit our mobile resources guide for instructions on installing the DynaMed Plus mobile app.
Important information on recording UpToDate credits
If you’ve created an individual UpToDate account and are accumulating Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) credits, you must log these credits before the subscription ends on December 31.
To log these credits with either RCPSC or CFPC, you must first generate a report in UpToDate. For instructions on how to do this, please consult UpToDate’s step-by-step instructional video.
Moving forward, you’ll be able to use DynaMed Plus for CME credit in the same way as UpToDate. For more information, visit the CME credit page.
