- The Reference section of the Taylor Family Digital Library (TFDL) is located on the 1st floor. Branch libraries may inter file their reference materials with circulating materials; reference materials will have "Reference" labeled on the spine of the book. These materials provide quick and accessible information such as facts and broad overviews of topics. Dictionaries, encyclopedias, bibliographies, and style guides are some examples of reference materials.
- Reference books are meant to be accessible to as many people as possible, and therefore are not permitted to leave the Library. Reference assistance is available from the service desk at any branch. In addition to in-person help, reference assistance is available by phone, e-mail, text messaging, and online chat.
