Purpose:

• Promote University initiatives and events and relevant community events
• Promote Libraries and Cultural Resources initiatives, resources, collections
• Maximize the use of the technology including support of research initiatives

Procedures:

• Describe event or story with pertinent information (date, time, location) as appropriate
• Use few words and large fonts as viewers are often 4-8’ away
• Check for accuracy
• Material layout should be designed as a slide or series of slides
• Material should be visually appealing
• Material must be in JPEG or PNG format
• Size format: Landscape: 1640px (width) x 1080px (height)
• Send an email with material to be posted as an attachment (two weeks before the slide should be posted) to kiosks@ucalgary.samanage.com
• Be sure to list both the start and end dates for the display
• Signage can be booked for up to a maximum of 30 days
