Q. When I search my topic in some of our e-book and reference collections, why do I get results that Primo doesn’t find, even though Primo indexes those collections?

Primo only has access to the item records from collections such as Ebook Central or Oxford Reference. When you go into those resources directly, you’re searching the full text, with that tool’s own relevancy ranking algorithm applied to the results. This will lead to different results than just searching in Primo, where the item record for an e-book may not indicate that a significant portion of that book is related to your search terms.
