Purpose
- Highlight, support, promote University of Calgary events, exhibitions, creative endeavors
- Support innovative collaborative efforts
- Showcase LCR events and collections
- Maximize the use of the technology including support of research initiatives
Procedures
- Bookings will be placed after approval from the Manager, Digital Strategies or designate and suitable digital files have been submitted. Initial consultation should be requested via email to support@ucalgary.samanage.com.
- Digital files and requests should be submitted as early as possible (at least two weeks) prior to publishing on the media walls.
- Please provide details of the event or story with key information (date, time, location, call to action) as appropriate. This will allow us to create an effective call to action.
- Slides will need to include imagery and follow UCalgary's brand and style guidelines where appropriate.
- The slides should use few words and provide a clear call to action. The screens are often viewed over 10' away.
- Double check all dates and details for accuracy.
- Material layout should be designed as slides or a short video.
- Material must be visually appealing and LCR holds the right to reject content if they don't meet our standards.
- Material must be in JPEG/PNG format and include original files.
- Size format: Landscape: 7680px (width) x 2160px (height)
- Bookings are managed through a calendar with access by the Manager, Digital Strategies.
Bookings may be altered or interrupted depending upon unit or institutional need. Every effort will be made to ensure this doesn’t happen but if it is required, the display owner will be contacted to discuss alternate arrangements.
