Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, library returns are restricted to the TFDL drop-box located outside the East Entrance. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) returns can also be returned at the TFDL drop-box. Please ensure your ILL item is returned with its paperwork.

 

Any UCalgary library item with a regular loan policy can be returned to any branch. However, reserve or technology material with a limited loan period must be returned to the branch or reserve kiosk that it was borrowed from. All Interlibrary Loans must be returned directly to the TFDL service desk with their ILL paperwork.

If public library items have been borrowed using an Alberta Library Card (TAL) and have a TAL flag, they can be returned to any UCalgary library location. Note, it make take two weeks or more for these items to be received at a public library branch and removed from the user's account. A user is responsible for the item until it is removed from their account. It is strongly recommended that UCalgary items checked out on a TAL card are returned directly to campus.

If public library items are borrowed on a public library card, they must be returned to a public library branch.
