Due to COVID-19, UCalgary Libraries' spaces are restricted to UCalgary Students, Faculty, and Staff. UCalgary Libraries are not providing Community and Alumni users with physical materials, library access, or guest logins.

 

UCalgary IT account authentication is required to access digital library resources such as databases, e-books, and journal articles.

 

Students, Faculty, and Staff can access digital library resources off campus by using their IT username and password and by signing into their Library Account.

 

Cont Ed students must contact the library through LibChat to have their account authenticated for off campus access during the duration of their course. The Continuing Education LibGuide has more information on cont ed e-book and database access.

 

Alumni users have access to a select number of databases off campus. The Alumni Database Access LibGuide has more information on alumni database access and account authentication. Alumni do not have access to other digital library resources, such as e-books, off campus.

 

UCalgary Associates have access to digital library resources off campus depending on their Associate status.

 

Community users do not have access to digital library resources off-campus.

 

All users have off campus access to Open Access resources.
