  • Podiums: The two instructor podiums are working. Each podium has a Crestron (for the projector/speaker settings) and PC. The instructor can plug in their own device via HDMI cable located on top of the podium.
    • If the instructor needs to change any of the projector settings, there are instructions inside the podiums on how to use the Crestron.
    • Both rooms have surround speakers. Instructors have the option to use the microphone that is stored in the podiums (extra batteries included).
  • Computer login: The Health Sciences Library no longer provides guest logins to the PCs.
    • Non-UofC users: The requestor should obtain a temporary guest login from UCIT.
    • U of C users: login using their UCIT username and password. If they do not know their login, they can reset their UCIT account via IT website (https://password.ucalgary.ca/) or contact UCIT for assistance.
  • IT Support: 
    There is no on-site library IT support at HSL. Advance testing would be recommended if the requestor/instructor is not familiar with the space and equipment.
    • Library staff on-site at HSL will be unable to assist with any set up, troubleshooting, or testing.
    • If the requestor needs IT support on the day of their booking, it is recommend that they book a space with FMC Room Booking Services (irrooms@ucalgary.ca) instead as they have AV Services and UCIT/MedIT support on-campus.
