The Marrakesh Treaty and provisions in the Canadian Copyright Act ensure libraries can create and provide accessible copies of copyrighted works, including research materials and course content, to users with perceptual disabilities.
eBooks and electronic journal articles available through the library databases may already be available in an accessible format. All UCalgary students, faculty and staff have access to these resources through UCID/eID authentication.
If the available electronic copy does not meet your needs or if an accessible copy does not exist, please submit a request to copyright@ucalgary.ca.
While registration with SAS is not a requirement of this service, it is encouraged.
Note: To obtain an alternate format textbook, please contact SAS.
