Yes. EMI Music Canada audiovisual recordings may be used to support teaching and learning in classroom settings.
Instructors are encouraged to contact Archives and Special Collections well in advance of their course to discuss teaching needs and timelines. Library staff can work with instructors and Universal Music Canada, where required, to determine appropriate access options and to support course delivery in keeping with Canadian copyright law and donor agreements.
Streaming access is typically used for course-related access, and timelines and permissions vary depending on the material and intended use.
Please contact Archives and Special Collections at asc@ucalgary.libanswers.com for more information.
