Microfilm and microfiche are micro-reproductions of materials such as journals, newspapers, or other documents. Microfilm and microfiche must be read using a microfilm reader. Refer to our Microforms Guide to determine how to access microfiche/film items. Microfilm/fiche readers are located behind the Integrate Service Desk on the First Floor of the TFDL.
Alumni and Community members can request microfilm/microfiche using the following form: https://libapps.ucalgary.ca/lmsforms/item-request.php
Alumni/Community access must be booked prior to using the readers: https://workrooms.ucalgary.ca/reserve/alumni-and-community.
