Theses by current or former University of Calgary students may be found in a variety of places:

  •  The Vault - The University of Calgary's (U of C's) Theses Repository contains theses submitted after June 28, 2012. The Vault will be updated frequently, so if a particular thesis isn't there one day, check back later.
  • Archives and Special Collections at the U of C - Paper theses submitted prior to June 2012.
  • PRISM: University of Calgary's Digital Repository  - Select digitized theses submitted prior to June 2012. Theses are made available by permission from University of Calgary graduate students.
  • The Library Catalogue - search the catalogue by title or author. Many hard-copy bound theses can be found in our circulating collection.
  •  ProQuest Dissertations and Theses @ University of Calgary has many theses in digital format. Note that theses from around the world may be found at ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global
  • Theses Canada has a collection of theses from students at Canadian universities.
  • Big Search Box - search various collections from one spot by inputting your search terms into the Big Search Box on any U of C library homepage
  • Author - If you are unable to find the thesis you are looking for, you may consider contacting the author of the thesis (assuming they are still alive) as they will likely have a copy.
