The CPR Land Sales Catalogue contains records of sales of agricultural land by the Canadian Pacific Railway to settlers in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta from 1881 to 1927. The information available includes the name of the purchaser, legal description of the land, number of acres purchased, and cost per acre.  These records are often used when applying for Century Farm status.

Please note: For questions about the catalogue, contact Archives & Special Collections staff by email at asc@ucalgary.libanswers.com or by phone at 403-220-3958
