Digital Services fulfills digitization/reproduction requests for materials in Archives and Special Collections.
When your request is received, it is reviewed on the requirements specified, including: scope of digitization requested, purpose, format/resolution and timeline.
For image and simple text based materials, where we can meet your needs, we will do our best to fulfill orders within 10 business days for requests with up to 10 images. Other materials, including Audio Visual formats, may take 2 to 6 weeks.
FEE SCHEDULE
- $20/object if the material can be handled in house
- If the material needs to be digitized by an external vendor, costs for digitization are passed along to the requester.
OPTIONAL FEES
- +$40/hour for extra image cleanup (if applicable)
- +$15/image for rush fee (if applicable)
- +$15/image for fragile or oversize material (if applicable)
A Digital Services Unit team member will be in contact upon receipt of your request to provide an estimate for your order.
